It is a pleasure for my partner and I to provide a testimonial for Andy Heston and the rest of his team at Campo Construction.

We wanted a builder to render the outside of our house ( over 100m2) plus other minor works, Campo Construction provided a first class service at very affordable rates. Andy is honest, trustworthy, and has a great sense of humour that really helps the job along.

Like all building works, things did not always go smoothly with rain causing delays and major structural cracks threatening to turn our semi into a detached!! When we bought our house in April 2006, the first thing we had to do was find a builder who was able to carry out the work we required. We chose Campo Construction run by Andy Heston for two main reasons, one was because their quotes were competitive and secondly we felt we would be able to communicate better, as we (like so many English) could not speak Spanish. We were able to view one of Campo Constructions current projects, so we could see the quality of their work.

Whilst we outlined our requirements for the renovations, some of the ideas and finishing touches came from Andy himself. We were particularly impressed with what he did with the upstairs shower room, the upstairs window in the lounge and the design of the kitchen. Another brilliant finishing touch of Andy's was the bookcase in the lounge which was created from an old, small doorway into a roof space. Having seen the completed work we feel that Campo Construction did a great job. The standard of work was great and everything was done in a professional manner.

We are so pleased with how it has all turned out and we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Campo Construction to anyone requiring any building/renovation work and we will definitely be using their skills in the future for any other work that we may require."

We just wanted to thank you forr the excellent work you have undertaken at our house but where do we start. For arranging the electrician and doing the very heavy labour that comes from a total rewire of a three storey house (including you Andy crawling through that terribly small space and digging out the flint walls to prepare for the move of the meter);

For arranging the move of the electric meter to comply with the new regulations. We know this was very complex due to the problems with the transfer of names from the old owner as you took the worry and stress out of this for us; For all the new plumbing including toilet, washbasin and shower in our newly tiled and converted bathroom; For our lovely new wall and windows. We never dreamt it could look so good.

For replacing the ceilings and the scraping and re-plastering of the lounge. The walls now look great including the jazzy lights and we can't wait to get back and paint it.

Myself and my husband brought an old townhouse in Alcaudete last spring. We knew the property was in need of modernisation as it was around 250 years old.

After asking around we were given a couple of names of local builders, so we requested some quotes.

After 8 months or so of trying to get our electricity reconnected and the leak in our roof fixed we decided we should finally look for an alternative contact for our property in Spain, patient is a virtue apparently but after 8 months, our virtue packed its ruck sack and went to look for a cliff. Whilst on a frantic search of tinterweb we chanced upon Campo construction and dropped them an email. Bloody hell fire! Within days Andy had emailed us, rang us, been up on our roof, sent us a quote, been to get a license and was up on the roof repairing the afore mentioned leak, Diane had been on the phone to the Electricity company had the bill on her desk and booked an appointment with us, the electricity company and the bank to sort out payment and direct debits for when we arrived.
Not only where they professional, competent and legal, they were also jolly nice too!
Not so much a breath of fresh air, more like a very welcome tornado!

Dear Andy and all the team at Campo Construction

We simply wanted to write and tell you how pleased we are with the recent work you have done on the patio of our home.
When we asked you to quote and then complete the work we had realised it was a huge job and I guess what people don't see is the work behind the finish.

We thought your quote was very fair but that was for the job we thought you would do! What we actually saw on our arrival in September was the most amazing transformation from what had been a very dull but private space, to an interesting space with steps, different levels and planting areas. Clearly the quote could have been significantly higher and I'm sure would have been with all other builders.

All of the work has been completed to an exceptionally high standard but we were amazed at the detail and extra added bits (even the tiling under the hard seating area) where you could have cut corners but didn't.
Our walls are now beautiful and more importantly safe and perhaps it is only us who can appreciate this and we love the added suggestions you made for extra lighting etc at very small cost.

My utility area is something else again and this is yet another transformation that I could never have imagined. It is a lovely space to work now and both this area and the patios were described as 'muy muy bonito' by our Spanish neighbour with much whistling and clapping when he saw it.

We enjoyed the space and can't wait to plant it up in the future.
